A play on the action of choice, within the art and act of perception.
Multi-exposures shot on 35mm film, each frame comes from one of two rolls of film. One roll was first shot in San Francisco, left undeveloped, and then put through the camera again twelve months later in Cape Town. The other roll of film was shot in the interim time in Ibiza and Formentera, then again put through the camera in Cape Town and en-route in England.
We are always choosing what we focus on within our layers of experience. Whilst moving through these contrasts, we become alive to the part we play - however momentarily - encountering how we structure and create meaning - reality - for ourselves.
